How to Use These DVD's

TIP: When in doubt - push the "title" button on your remote. That button (on most remotes) should take you back to the main menu, from anywhere on the DVD. If not, try the other "menu" button. Mark the one that works.

When you start a DVD, the "Main Menu" appears. The menu items are:

Countdown Clocks: 2 5-minute count-down timers with music. Great for starting group time with everybody's attention, or timing events. Choose "High Energy" or "Calm" countdowns, for your style of class. Play them to the end, and they automatically return to the main menu. To leave early, push the "title" button on your remote. Skip forward or backward a minute at a time with the "skip" buttons.

Tip: Feel free to use your own favorite music CD's for background music while the countdown videos play.

All Songs: Links to all of the songs on the DVD, accessible from a single menu. Designed to easily do several songs in your own order. Feel free to mix and match. Select a song, let it play to the end of the song (be patient! All the way to the end of the song!), and the DVD automatically returns to this menu for you to select the next song. DVD players do not allow you to "program" your own song orders, but this will make it easy to make your own song order "on the fly!"

Tip: The last line of lyrics always has " * * * " under it.

Tip: Select "All Songs" and play all the songs as your transition time music. If you want to skip a song or two, press the "next" button on your remote. It will skip to the beginning of the next song.

Worship Orders 1-4: Songs are organized into four 5-song orders. Each order is organized to flow easily. The first 3 songs are fast to medium, while the 4th is slow. The 5th song brings the energy back up.

Pick a worship order and begin at any song in the list. Songs automatically advance from one to the next, or can be easily skipped with the "next" button on the DVD remote. If you want to go from songs to teaching or prayer, end song time after a slower song (always #4). Go to skits or fun by ending on a fast song. Have less time for songs? Then do 1 to 3 or 2 to 4! The songs average about 2 to 2:30 in length; some more, some less.

Tip: If you want to skip a song or 2, press the "next" button on your remote. It will skip to the beginning of the next song. At the end of worship orders, the DVD automatically returns to the main menu for quick access to the wallpapers.

Wallpapers: Still pictures that decorate the screen without distracting. Use these on your video screens during teaching time, prayers, or any time you're not playing the other things on the DVD. Press "title" or "enter" to return to the main menu.
